This capstan was specially designed to act as a wire sizing and input back tension capstan for a precision extrusion process. The bare copper rod is sized by a rotating input die with suitable lubricant system and pulled by a wire drawing capstan. The rod then passes to a multi-wrap capstan which sets the product speed into the process.
