Supplied as part of a complete extrusion line the combination of twin take-up and accumulator allow for continuous production at line speeds up to 150 mpm. The accumulator is coordinated to absorb the cable production whilst the changeover is being made. Various devices are included to assist the operator at the changeover, such as feed out rolls, power shear and rapid traverse movement.
